Overview

NLM0011 is a dual-mode NFC wireless configuration IC with CLO and PWM outputs, primarily designed for LED applications to enable NFC programming. Advanced features such as constant lumen output (CLO) as well as on/off counting are integrated, with no need for an additional microcontroller. NLM0010 is a light version of the NLM0011 without the CLO function. The NFC contactless interface is compliant with ISO/IEC 18000-3 mode 1 (ISO/IEC 15963)

Key Features

  • Configurable PWM output
  • ISO 15693 NFC interface
  • Integrated CLO function
  • Integrated OPT, on/off counter
  • 20-byte free memory for user data
  • Configurable pulse-width modulation
  • Constant light output (CLO)

About

NFC programming of the LED driver replaces the traditional "plug-in resistor" method to configure the output current in a fast and safe manner. The LED driver is equipped with an NFC programming function that can be programmed in passive mode in different manufacturing and installation stages. It reduces the cost of parameter programming significantly.

CLO is an important feature of high-quality LED products which keeps a constant light output during the product's lifetime. NLM0011 enables customers to achieve fast and cost-effective implementation for the CLO function without the need of an additional microcontroller.

The PWM-based analog control method generates the desired DC control voltage by controlling the duty cycle of the PWM signal. It is compatible with most analog LED driver designs that use the “plug-in resistor” method.
