Infineon's TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2CL series MCUs offer exceptional capabilities for automotive cluster electronics, featuring robust processing power and reliable network connectivity built around the Arm® Cortex®-M4F architecture. This series is tailored for various automotive cluster applications, including hybrid instrument cluster, virtual instrument cluster, and HVAC. The CYT2CL series boasts a 160 MHz frequency and 4 MB of flash capacity.

The TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2CL series is a lineup of TRAVEO™ T2G microcontrollers meticulously crafted for automotive applications such as cluster entry units. The family features a 32-bit MCU core system, including a powerful 160 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4 for primary operations and an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ for peripheral and security functions (HSM).

In terms of memory TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2CL boasts a 4 MB flash, 512 KB SRAM, and 128 KB work flash. Operating seamlessly on either 2.7 V or 5.5 V supply voltages

Interfaces are taken to a new level, with up to 4-ch CAN FD, up to 12-ch SCB, 2-ch LIN-UART, 2-ch CXPI, and 1-ch SMIF supporting single/dual/quad/octal-SPI/HYPERBUS™.

Cluster functionality includes 6-ch SMC+ZPD, Four LCD controllers, with 32 segments (SEG) and four commons (COM) and a sound module with PCM-PWM support.

Available in 176/144-pin LQFP packages, these microcontrollers offer the finest in automotive computing. Powered by an advanced 40-nm process, they integrate Infineon's low-power flash alongside cutting-edge analog and digital peripherals, establishing a secure and robust foundation for automotive systems.

The TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2CL is a highly advanced automotive cluster with exceptional safety and security features. It boasts four LCD controllers with 32 segments and four commons as LCD controller and two TDM interfaces, two PCM-PWM interfaces, up to five sound generator interfaces, and one PCM Audio stream mixer with five input streams as its sound subsystem. Additionally, the TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2CL has a dedicated standby mode controller, which operates on a separate voltage domain. This feature not only allows for low power modes but also enables analog measurements, CAN and LIN communications, RTC, and basic processing while the rest of the microcontroller is in standby mode.

Safety is the core know-how of Infineon, and all products provide safety mechanism (including MBIST, ECC Flash/RAM, CRC) to ensure a safety platform supporting ASIL-B ISO 26262. State-of-the-art security with Secure Boot support by a dedicated Arm® Cortex-M0+ core and security hardware to accelerate cryptographic functions.

In terms of security, this product has an HSM compliant eVita full, ensuring the implementation of future proofed security measure.

The TRAVEO™ AUTOSAR Software was introduced to the market in 2014 and has since undergone numerous improvements and upgrades. For the TRAVEO™ T2G, a mature, feature-rich driver layer is now available, which is developed, maintained, and supported by in-house TRAVEO™ experts. The TRAVEO™ T2G AUTOSAR Software was developed in compliance with AUTOMOTIVE SPICE and ISO26262 standards, making it suitable for applications with safety targets up to ASIL-B. Additionally, the delivery package includes the EB Tresos™ configuration tool, which comes with a node-locked license.

ModusToolbox Software is a comprehensive suite of development tools that provides a flexible and efficient development environment.
